Arboretum Holiday Lights in Bloom and the Holiday Boutique starts November 24
Hosted by Friends of the Orange County Arboretum

image There may be a chill in the air but the Arboretum will be in “full bloom” with beautiful, garden themed light displays in the forms of flowers, animals and insects. Children, and adults alike, will be charmed as they stroll down paths of lit trees, walk through gardens filled with flowers and “critters”, visit the 9/11 Memorial Garden decorated in patriotic splendor and stop at the water’s edge of a pond created in lights.

The "Holiday Lights in Bloom" program is FREE and will be open to the public from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays starting November 24th though December 17th and then daily from December 22nd through December 31st from 5:00pm to 8:00pm (closed Christmas Eve 12/24, and Christmas Day 12/25).  Be sure to visit this “ever growing” event and make it part of your family’s holiday traditions.

The Friends will be offering a wonderful selection of merchandise hand crafted by the Arboretum’s dedicated group of volunteer “elves” that will be ideal for your decorating and gift giving needs. The Arboretum Holiday Boutique offers a beautiful selection of handmade ornaments, wreaths, garland, fresh centerpieces, miniature trees, hand knitted hats and scarves, birdhouses, holiday linens, and honey collected from the Arboretum’s bee hives are just a small sampling of what will be available. There will be plenty of opportunities to shop and then visit the light program because the Boutique will be open in the Ottaway Education Center on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 5-8pm December 2 to December 23. If you just want to shop, and skip the light program, the Boutique will be held on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays starting November 24th and ending December 17th from 5:00PM to 8:00PM in conjunction with the Holiday Lights in Bloom program. All proceeds raised at the Boutique help fund the beautiful plantings and various educational programs at the Arboretum.

The Arboretum is located within Thomas Bull Memorial Park on State Route 416 in Montgomery and is most easily accessed from the Grove St. entrance to the Park. Get directions from your current location (see below).
