Orange County Arboretum is very grateful for the generous support of its donors. Your gifts make it possible for the Arboretum to maintain this historic property and carry-out its mission of horticultural excellence and dedication to environmental education.
The Arboretum Commemorative Giving program offers you the opportunity to honor someone special, commemorate an occasion, or establish a memorial with a donation of a park bench, or the planting of a tree.
Plant a TreeA tree is a unique gift to remember family and friends – a symbol of life. Donors who purchase trees, along with those being honored, will be included on a plaque located in the Ruth and Jim Ottaway Education Center. A letter of acknowledgment will be sent, indicating the location of the tree.
Two sizes of trees are available:
The arboretum maintains a list of desirable trees for potential giving. Trees on this list coordinate with the Arboretum Master Plan. Sighting for gift trees will depend on the plants environmental requirements.
Bench DonationsA $1,800 donation will sponsor a teak or stone park bench with commemorative plaque.
A Helping HandYour donation of $25 or more will be placed in a fund established for year round care of the arboretum’s tree collections.
